How to use RSS
What is RSS?
It's a great way of keeping up to date with all your favourite dynamic websites! Instead of having to visit all your favourite websites you can glance through the latest headlines to see if there is any new information that is relevant to you. So whether it's news, gear reviews or book reviews, we can keep you up to date by subscribing to our RSS feeds. Whenever you see the RSS logo you know you can subscribe to a live feed of information.
Using RSS With an Internet Browser
Whenever you see the RSS icon you can use it to access our RSS feeds in a number ways. The most popular method is by means of a 'Live Bookmark'
The first step is to click on the RSS logo on the right, indicated by the arrow
You should then be presented a button or link inviting you to subscribe to the feed as shown here
You are then asked where you would like to create the bookmark. A good place to save it is on the bookmarks toolbar, then you have immediate access to the feed.
That's it. If you then click on the button you have just created in the toolbar you will be able to see a list of stories. If you click on the headline, you will be forwarded directly to that page.
Please be aware that in the above example, the Firefox browser was used. Other browsers can also be used to connect to RSS feeds, for more details consult your help files.
