The Annual South Downs Way Walk

THE chalk stone photo18th – 26th June 2010
The Annual South Downs Way Walk takes place along one of the country’s most scenic National Trails – and through an area recently designated as a new National Park! Although the South Downs Way never rises above a comfortable 700 feet, its one hundred miles of rolling chalk downland give amazing views of 40 miles or more in every direction and it is truly some of the best walking in England. The annual event is, by tradition, a ’supported’ rather than ‘guided’ walk with everyone free to walk at their own pace and there is the added security offered by the team of ten ‘Footprints Red Shirts’ who will walk with you and always be nearby to help with directions, some simple first aid or just a friendly smile!

    Hello

I was very interested last year of your guided walk and went up to Bignor Hill to see you all stride past-with smiling faces all round it made up my mind to walk with you this year!

Unfortunately my dear friend has decided to marry on the 21st, bang in the middle of the walk-and i was just wondering if it would be possible to still do the walk but miss the monday(unless there was a way to catch-up somehow)?
I think i may have seen your offer of week-end southdown way walks over two week-ends but i’m not sure if that was me just wishfull thinking as i can’t seem to find it again?

I would be very interested if we could get around my problem as the training will do me good as im walking “The Great Wall Of China” in october for St Barnabas and raising as many funds as possible?
I look forward to hearing from you!

    Yours sincerely

    Gina Drake.
