New online home for volunteers
A new online resource for Ramblers volunteers has been launched, offering a one-stop shop for all members who work voluntarily for the charity. The new-look section of Ramblers’ main website, www.ramblers.org.uk/volunteer, will carry news, factsheets and handbooks, as well as pages devoted to individual volunteer roles – including walk leaders. There will no longer be any password protection, and options for RSS feeds and monthly e-newsletters will mean you can get information more easily and specifically to your work. The online resource will replace the former paper-based circulars and aims to be cheaper, more effective and less wasteful.
