A new look

__NewForestDawn Ben FreerVisitors to the New Forest National Park can now see this iconic landscape through the eyes of its users – and their camera lenses! A new exhibition at the New Forest Centre showcases the winners and runners-up from the New Forest Photography Competition held earlier this year. ‘Iconic images of the New Forest National Park’ formed part of the national celebrations to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act, and the results are stunning. Ben Freer’s ‘New Forest Dawn’ (above) was the overall winner, while Antony Norris’ ‘The long walk home’ (below) was voted ‘Outstanding Picture’.

Iconic New Forest is free and runs until 8 February at the New Forest Gallery in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, SO43 7NY.
