75 years on: Tell us your story!

75thStory12010 will be an exciting year for the Ramblers. It’s the 75th anniversary of the organisation and a wonderful opportunity to highlight the important work that Ramblers volunteers do for their community. The Ramblers needs your help to find case studies, anecdotes, photos and memorabilia from members past and present that will inspire a new generation of Ramblers. So if you think you might be the oldest or youngest member, have made a special contribution to your area – either doing vital footpath work or leading walks for people with disabilities – or feel you’ve made a difference to someone’s life, then email 75anniversary@ ramblers.org.uk or write to Ramblers central office at Ramblers Association: 2nd Floor, Camelford House, 87-90 Albert Embankment, London, SE1 7TW

We at Llanelli Ramblers have reached the grand age of 25. Friday, 23rd October saw 150 of us gather for a meal at The King Arthur Hotel on the scenic Gower coast. Followed by a recreation of our Inaugural on Sunday, 25th October with 50 walkers in attendance. Compared to the RA at 75, we at 25 have a long way to go.
