This straightforward, self-guided walking exercise is an entertaining idea that is likely to appeal to all ages. It contains a series of clues, plus directions, (but no map) to help you find your way on foot around the child-friendly 3-5km/2-3-mile course. The Oxford trail takes the form of a murder mystery and the Winchester trail is an historic tour of the former Saxon capital’s cathedral and castle.
