This is a pretty impressive walking shoe - bags of support and comfort as well as some dinky design features. I tested last season's version, but the makers assure us that only styling has been altered. Despite appearances to the contrary they are probably the lightest walking shoes I've ever worn and pretty stable, too. I loved the mesh segment on each side, which allow air to flow into the shoes and also help with water drainage if you get caught out on a wet day. Of course waterproofing isn't a selling point here, but hey, it's summer. The shoes provide good all-round support as well as cushioning and could be used for more active walking across slightly more demanding terrain, as its design background is actually as a crossterrain runner.
