Merrell's Continum range is a collection of shoes and boots with a mind-boggling array of 'traction, fit, comfort, design, climate and stability' combinations. Imelda Marcos, should she be a walker, would be pleased. The Passage Ventilator features air-cushioned Vibram® soles and the usual upper combo of nubuck and nylon mesh, which is breathable, but not waterproof. They have the curved and pointed toes of running shoes and were easiest to walk at pace in. They are comfortable, flexible, lightweight and look good to boot (pun intended).
