Hi-Tec V-Lite Hurricane (Women's)
Hi-Tec V-Lite Hurricane (women's) £60.00
The award for the best supporting footbed goes to the V-lite Hurricane, which is an 'adventure sports' shoe. Initially it felt very supportive but after an hour or two my feet were screaming to be let out. The support turned into a vice like grip which caused my feet to ache, even with the laces very loose. Even after numerous outings in the hills and in town their rigidity didn't offer much softness. Would maybe suit narrower feet. It is a masculine and rugged looking shoe and full marks for the nifty piece of neoprene at the heel, which offers some much-needed flexibility and give on an often tender spot. Overall, too hard and stiff a ride for me.
