Rohan Striders

+ Warm, stretchy and ideal for cooler weather. The flattering fit allows for excellent freedom of movement. Soft on the inside, they are breathable and offer good protection against the wind.

– No belt loops (although there are adjustable Velcro waist-tabs). A couple of back pockets could make them more flattering.

VERDICT: Rohan’s fast-drying softshell trousers have become a firm favourite on our travels, and are unsurprisingly and deservedly a best-seller.

Rohan’s are great but why have I got a drawer full of unusable Rohan trousers?
THE ZIPS AND POCKETS ARE RUBBISH! They wear out long before the trousers. They are expensive to replace so the trousers languish in apparently good condition like Rip Van Winkle waiting for the day when Rohan tire of built-in obsolescence.

It seems that Striders are sold only in short and medium lengths, not long. That makes them useless for a lot of people, including me.
