+ Beautifully engineered, it makes carrying heavy loads easier. The sun hood zips out of the headrest like a dream. Very stable on the floor so easy to get a child in and out, and there’s a proper seat for your passenger – not just a fabric sling – with a padded pillow for nap times. Also features a hydration system pocket and rear view mirror.

– It’s a very tall structure – not so good in woods and in high winds. Rain cover costs extra and is open at the front so does not give total protection from wind and rain. No foot loops.

Verdict: The Rolls-Royce of child carriers for both carrier and passenger. A carrying bag would make a nice addition, though.
