+ The carrier bag and side pocket on the hip belt are great additions. There’s a removable mini-rucksack/changing bag, a comfortable harness and foot loops.

– The sun canopy can be tricky to fit, especially with cold hands, and the base is not that stable for (un)loading the child.

Verdict: Thoughtfully designed, the Bushbaby’s rain cover was the most effective of all the carriers tested.
