An extremely light pack, the Stratos' 'Aircore' suspension system is comfortable and gives great ventilation, although the fibreglass struts do impinge a little on interior space. A great feature, usually found on much larger packs, is zipped access to the main compartment through one of the large side pockets. Hydration systems are well catered for, with clips in both the lid and inside the 'Aircore' space. Other features include a key clip, built-in whistle, dual equipment loops and well-padded shoulder and hip straps, although it lacks a raincover. There is plenty of adjustment across the chest, shoulders and waist with a plethora of compression straps to keep smaller loads stable.
