The Karrimor's concave back system offers fantastic support and plenty of ventilation, but might feel a little unstable on a smaller torso. Plenty of shrink straps make compressing lighter loads a breeze, and the waist belt and shoulder/chest straps provide great comfort. The raincover in the lid pocket is a welcome feature, but not being attached to the pack could easily be mislaid. While traditionalists will approve of the simple top-loading design, I would have preferred more than just the one zipped front map pocket for easier access to smaller items. That aside, with a bladder pocket, mesh side pockets, key clip, and pole straps, this is a well-equipped daypack matched to Karrimor's customary indestructible build quality.
