This year’s festival is headlined by a series of special events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Kinder Scout Mass Trespass. These include a re-creation of the walk from Hayfield – with some ramblers in 1930s gear and a victory celebration at Kinder Low – talks by a local historian about the 1932 clash, and a Trespass-themed ceilidh. There are more than 130 themed walks and outdoor activities during the fortnight, ranging from challenging country hikes to relaxed urban strolls, all set amid the dramatic heather moorlands, gritstone edges and rolling limestone valleys of the Peak Park.<br />
