I live on Gower at Pennard Cliffs and I see by the number of visitors that coastal walking is popular. There are the elderly and infirm that can have a level walk with a view across the channel and those like me that like to be more adventurous.I am not alone I am sure in saying that such walks are advantatious to health both physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
I enjoy the view from my window each morning but I am sure not as much as those visitors from their housing estates etc. There is enough in life that is of negative influence, so is it so much to ask that simple and innocent pleasures be preseved? I think not.
Fortunately for us here the National Trust has kept the ways open, but if private land owners want to be philanthropic they too can contribute access that will be appreciated I am sure by the majority.
Many thanks to those that do just that and lets hope for positive and friendly approach on this matter.
